About DreamedAbout.com

A public record of who the world is dreaming about.

What is DreamedAbout.com?

DreamedAbout.com is a place where you can log dreams about public figures and fictional characters — celebrities, athletes, musicians, film characters, TV personalities, and more. Every time someone logs a dream, that person's dreamed-about count goes up.

The result is a real-time, crowd-sourced record of who the world is dreaming about. It's playful, social, and surprisingly revealing. No dream analysis. No interpretations. Just a tally.

Public Figures & Fictional Characters Only

DreamedAbout.com does not allow private individuals to be added to the database. Every entry is a public figure (celebrity, athlete, politician, musician, public personality) or a fictional character from film, TV, literature, or games. This is a firm policy with no exceptions.

Entries are added manually by our admin team. If you'd like to suggest a public figure or character who isn't in the database yet, use the "Suggest this name" option on the search page.

How Dream Logging Works

1

Search for the public figure or fictional character you dreamed about using the search bar.

2

Select a descriptor that best fits your dream — Surprising, Comforting, Mysterious, and so on. These are preset options; there's no free-text input.

3

Log it. Your dream is recorded and that person's dreamed-about count increments by one.

4

One log per person per 12 hours. You can log a dream about the same person again after 12 hours have passed.

Your Account

Creating an account is free and only requires a username, email address, and password. You'll need to confirm your email before logging in for the first time.

Your account gives you access to My Dreams — a personal history of every dream you've logged, with the name, descriptor, and timestamp for each one. You can update your password at any time from your profile page.

Privacy

Dream logs are public — your username and the descriptor you chose appear on each person's page. The specific content of your dream is never collected; you only select from preset descriptors.

We do not sell your personal account information (email address) to third parties. Aggregate and anonymised trend data — such as which public figures are being dreamed about most — may be shared with entertainment industry partners.

FAQ

No. DreamedAbout.com only allows public figures and fictional characters. Private individuals cannot be added under any circumstances.
We use preset descriptors only — by design. This keeps the platform safe, consistent, and free from the legal and moderation risks that come with free-text input. You pick the vibe that best fits: Surprising, Comforting, Mysterious, and more.
The 12-hour window prevents spam and keeps the dreamed-about counts meaningful. Counts are supposed to reflect genuine community activity, not a single user repeatedly clicking a button.
It's the total number of times registered users have logged a dream about that person since their entry was added to the database. It's a cumulative, all-time count. The leaderboard lets you filter by time period to see who's trending right now.
Search for their name using the search bar on any page. If no results appear, you'll see a "Suggest this name" button. Our admin team reviews suggestions and adds entries manually. Public figures and fictional characters only.
Some entries are sponsored by entertainment companies — record labels, PR firms, film studios, and similar organisations. Sponsored entries appear with a ✦ Featured badge at the top of the homepage, search results, and leaderboard. They are clearly labelled and always public figures or fictional characters.
Aggregate trend data — which public figures are dreamed about most, how counts change week over week, descriptor breakdowns — may be shared with entertainment industry partners as anonymised reports. Your individual account information is never sold.
